Time is running out for Treetops

Taking time to enjoy another beautiful winter sunset as Treetops moves closer and closer to clearing out all of our stock. I have hardly moved from the computer since our last newsletter in February 2024 announcing that we were stopping our dyeing production side of Treetops after 37 years. We received so many heartwarming responses, thank you so very much! It has been a hard decision, but my new goal is to try and make space for a new creative life to emerge.

So far, this entails something I have always loved doing and that is sharing collective knowledge about the fibre we all love so much - Wool!

Teachings On Offer

This year you can find me teaching Mastering the Art of Drape at FeltWest in Perth, Western Australia in October, 2024. Creating fine fabrics with fabulous drape has been a passion of mine ever since I began working with superfine Merino and silk fabrics. In June, I also have a fun one-day course Playing with Colour and Felt at the Murray Arts and Craft Society, Pinjarra, Western Australia.
